The method Bangz Salon & Spa offers is called Tress Express by South Beach Hair Systems and is an exciting new way to do hair extensions. No glue, No chemicals, No heat, and No sewing, weaving, or braiding. Our strand to strand system uses our own Tress Tube Method; the safest, fastest extensions for you the client. The Tress Tubes are so small they are virtually undetectable, and they come in different colors to closely match your hair at the point of attachment

Unlike other bonding methods, the “I" tip hair in the Tress Tube System is RE-USABLE and the Tress Tubes are lined with silicone so there is no slipping! The hair tresses can be tightened and maintained so the hair may be used over and over for up to 1 year or longer and it comes in all colors and shapes (straight, wavy, or curly)!

1) How long can my hair extensions be?

Any length is available up to 22", which will give you hair about to your waist. The most popular length is 18", which will put the hair approximately at the bra line.

2) How much do hair extensions cost?

Inclusive packages range from $1,000-$1,400, depending on length and thickness desired. Each package comes complete with the finest quality 100% human hair, professional application, blending cut, styling tips, and education on the care of your hair "investment". After the initial application, maintenance visits usually cost around $375 every 2 months or so.

3) My friend had her extensions sewn in for around $300. Why are these so much more?

Those type of extensions are applied with one long "weft" or "track" of hair that is sewn onto a small, tight cornrow braid. They are usually uncomfortably tight, cannot be used for fine/ thin hair, and are not the best choice for Caucasian hair. The braid and weft causes a bump in the back of the hair which is usually visible in fine/ thin hair. The hair is usually of cheaper quality, and they have to be re-done every 6 weeks. Remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to hair extensions.
Our extensions are "strand to strand", individually applied pieces of hair that are extremely flat and comfortable. They are made of the finest quality human hair, which will last for several months without needing to completely take out the entire extension. Our system is unique because the hair can be re-used, highlights and hair placement can be customized anywhere on the head, and we use no chemical, heat, sewing or braiding to give you the safest possible method for your hair.
The stylists who apply the extensions have also received specialized training and certifications, and have lots of experience so you can feel confident in your choice. We also have lots of "before and after" pictures of our clients available for you to look at.

4) How long does the application take?

A full head application will take approx. 3-5 hours, which includes the blending cut.

5) How are the extensions applied?

Our application system starts with the finest quality 100% human hair. It is inserted into a tiny "tube" that closely match the color of your hair in the root area and then crimped shut. It is a "cold" strand to strand method that uses no heat, no chemicals, no sewing, weaving, or braiding. It is the absolutely safest extension system available.

6) How long do they last?

After the initial application, the extension hair will last approx. 8-12 months or longer, depending on how well it is maintained. If you decide to change your look, you can also store your hair for reuse at a later time.

7) How often do I need to get my hair maintained after the initial application?

Most clients will return for maintenance every 2 months. This will vary depending on growth or natural shedding.

8) How long does my own hair have to be?

It can be a short as 3". We can also make miracles happen with very short hair due to a bad haircut or damage from chemicals.

9) Will I be able to wear my hair up?

Yes! The extensions are applied with that in mind, so you can wear your hair in multiple styles.

10) Can I still color or highlight my hair?

Yes, you can! You can have any professionally done chemical service to your hair. You can also use the extensions to do highlights without using chemicals to highlight and thicken your hair.

11) Can I just add volume without adding length?

Yes. Volume can be achieved with even a few well placed hair extensions.
